Sean will share his experiences as an IDEO studio head, and current client, to shed light on the importance of managing both client and consultant relationships to ensure the best project outcomes.

This conversation will be of special interest to design professionals managing teams, design entrepreneurs in consultancies, and executives in leadership roles related to design and product development.

Topics for discussion will include:
  • IDEO from the inside, and out... culture, behavior, attitudes, mindset, methods and case studies at one of the worlds’ top design firms, as well as observations as a client.
  • The Perfect Client... be careful what you wish for Mr. Design Firm Principal. Is that the perfect client….or your worst nightmare?
  • Lessons learned... what REALLY matters in the business of design.
  • Ask me anything... questions, answers, and discussion.

IDSA Atlanta would like to thank the people who made this event possible; to the students (28 of whom participated in spite of busy schedules and the holiday weekend) who worked tirelessly, making every minute count, and to our distinguished judges who served with great enthusiasm, many thanks.
